BAGİS MEETS PARTY MEMBERS İN TUZLA
Egemen Bagis attended a conference organized by AK Party Istanbul Province Administration at Tuzla Idris Gulluce Cultural Center and expressed many important statements regarding domestic and foreign policies.
Bagis stressed that Turkey in four years, with the AK Party government, either in relations with her neighbors or the European Union process has come to a point where no one would have imagined, and also has become a country that lays down the rules in her region.
Noting that they have been criticized as "given in" or "process has stopped", Bagis noted that within the last year and a half over 1600 government employees visited Brussels for negotiations, therefore stopping the process is not the case, but rather there has been important progress in the process.
Touching up on the relations with US, reminding that the USA has been one of the first countries to declare PKK as a terrorist organization and that it has major efforts in capturing the chief terrorist, Bagis noted that the image of the US in Turkey would change overnight should the US turn over the leaders of PKK in Northern Iraq.
Commenting to the party members on the Presidential elections Bagis noted that this issue should not be something to quarrel about and that they will be electing the best suitable President and that starting from May 17th, there will be an administration with synchronized heart beat and pulse from the village chiefs to the President.
Replying to questions of the party members at the end of the conference Bagis ended his remarks by noting that as long as AK Party continues this synergy it possesses, it will serve many more terms for this country.
